FAQ
Q: How much does all this cost?
A: Capitalism is wild enough, let’s not let cost be the barrier between you and your goals. During our intake, we’ll talk about customizing a package to your goals and your budget, including opportunities for work trade or in-kind payment.
Q: What kind of workout equipment do I need?
A: None! Maybe. It’s true that access to exercise equipment can make it easier to achieve some goals, but we can also create a well-rounded routine you can do with a chair in your living room. Use the contact page to reach out and set up an intake to share what resources you have to aid you and together, we’ll figure out next steps
Q: What if I’m not fit enough to start a program? Or if I hate exercising?
A: No such thing! One of the things I learned from being a community organizer is to meet you where you’re at. Whatever level you’re at right now is the perfect fitness level to launch from. My goal is to help you hit your goals, and to give you tools to improve your relationship with your body. Take a look at the testimonials page and you’ll see clients who started out from sedentary and hated exercise. Now, these clients look forward to getting off work so they can head to the gym.
Whether you’re looking to train for a sports league or looking to complete your first mile run since middle school, I’m here to help you.
Q: What if I don’t know what my fitness goals are?
A: What a great place to start! Let’s figure it out together!
Q: Why do I need a personal trainer?
A: Here’s a secret that other trainers won’t tell you. You probably don’t. It’s true, you don’t NEED a personal trainer if you already have the research skills, the discipline, and the knowledge to put together your own program. And honestly, a lot of people already have those things. I know, I’m not doing myself any favors by telling you this, but hey, I went to Evergreen, not Foster.
So you don’t need a trainer, but if you want to reach your goals efficiently and develop self-accountability; if you want to have confidence in an exercise plan customized to you as opposed to torn out of a magazine sold to thousands; if you want to be able to ask someone questions about exercise science, form, and strategies to balance a fitness lifestyle with all the other important things in your life…
Well you don’t NEED a personal trainer, but trust me, you really, really want one.
